Who's Geoff?
I am a beyond middle aged man from the soggy South West of England.
- Married
- keeper of two (rescue) cats, these being the 6th and 7th we have taken in so far.
Why have a website
I am currently a web-editor - but the days of hand coding content are rapidly dwindling with the development of new Content Managment Systems and the dread SharePoint. (From a business perspective this is not a bad thing as we need to concentrate on the content and the user needs, rather than how it looks and how it works!)
Having a personal site seemed good idea:
- It is a hobby - keeps my hand in on the basics and keeps me learning.
- Writing is semi-creative creative hobby so good for development and relaxing
- I do not want a clone presence, and one that I have full control over.
